Our client runs a transportation business in the United States. Since the rented systems couldn't handle the tasks and were costing the client a significant amount of money, the company needed custom software for transportation management, route planning, and a dispatch module. They also required automated interaction with drivers, automation of accounting processes, and a system for recruiting and supporting staff. Furthermore, the entire solution had to be integrated with existing business systems. As a result, the decision was made to develop the entire system from scratch to fully meet the company’s specific needs.

Flexible and highly customizable solution

Creation of a flexible and highly customizable solution allows businesses to adapt the system to their specific needs. It offers configurable features such as route planning, automated dispatching, and driver management, enabling tailored workflows. The solution can easily integrate with existing systems, ensuring scalability and adaptability as business requirements evolve.

Recruting module

The "Recruiting Management" module optimizes the hiring process and candidate management. It also handles employee records, performance tracking, and communication, ensuring efficient workforce operations and improving overall human resource management.

Goals set to Qberry

Designing all system entities, including the recruiting module, support module, dispatch module, driver app, and accounting module.
Development of a recruitment and personnel support system to optimize the workflow of recruiters and HR managers.
Development of a transportation management system for dispatchers.
Development of an accounting management system starting with trip-related expenses and earnings, including invoicing, and the development of a payroll management module for the entire company.
Development of a driver app for interaction and validation of trip stages and processes, as well as facilitating seamless communication between the dispatcher and the driver.
Integration with third-party systems of various companies for exchanging orders and related results.

Safety module

The Safety Module helps ensure timely maintenance of trucks, tracks driver certifications, and monitors accidents and violations. This module is essential for maintaining fleet safety and compliance, ensuring that vehicles and drivers meet all required standards and regulations.

Dispatchers module

The Dispatchers module provides control over all logistics operations, allowing dispatchers to efficiently plan, monitor, and adjust routes. It offers automated route optimization, live trip tracking, and seamless communication with drivers, ensuring smooth coordination and quick decision-making. This module enhances overall operational efficiency and enables adaptability to changes or disruptions during transportation.

Driver application

The Driver Application is a real-time app designed for drivers to manage their loads and trips. It guides drivers through the entire process, from accepting job requests to delivering or unloading cargo. The app tracks their location, provides instructions on what steps to take at each stage of the trip, and facilitates seamless communication with dispatchers.

Other module

The Accounting module simplifies financial operations by automating the generation of invoices, salary calculations for drivers, managers, and dispatchers, ensuring accurate and timely payments. The Rating module tracks and evaluates the performance of managers, providing insights for improvement and performance-based rewards. The EDI Integration module enables seamless data exchange with external platforms, allowing efficient communication and order processing across systems. The Broker Quality Indicator module assesses brokers, providing insights into their reliability and trustworthiness, helping dispatchers make informed decisions.

The Accidents/Claims section is crucial for tracking and managing all incidents involving the fleet, enabling managers to efficiently monitor claim statuses, driver involvement, and associated costs for streamlined resolution.
Inspections
The Inspections section is essential for tracking and managing vehicle inspections, providing details such as the date, truck and trailer numbers, driver, inspection status, and category. This helps fleet managers ensure vehicles are compliant with safety and operational standards.
Maitenance
The Maintenance tracks vehicle maintenance schedules, repairs, and service history, helping ensure that all vehicles remain in optimal condition and minimizing downtime.
Driver Compliance (Expiration)
The Driver Compliance (Expiration) list is essential for managing driver certifications and compliance, allowing fleet managers and admins to efficiently track expiration dates for licenses, medical certifications, and required reviews.

The ongoing trip section offers a quick glance at the current trip progress, including the number of stops and miles left. The interface allows drivers to easily navigate between their trips, drive mode, and messages for seamless trip management.

The Trip provides drivers with a clear overview of their upcoming, active, and past trips, including detailed pickup and delivery information to guide them through each stage of their journey.
Message
The Message tab enables drivers to communicate directly with dispatchers, providing real-time updates, instructions, and the ability to adjust their Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) for seamless trip coordination.
Profile
The Profile screen provides drivers with access to their personal details, contact information, and rate, allowing easy management and navigation to other sections like trips and messages.
